Greetings in the name of the Lord: 

On Tuesday, October 29, I led my first Beacons of Light Family of Parishes Planning Council meeting. We had a prepared agenda with much to cover. My impression is that the meeting went well, with a good amount of discussion among the members of the council.  

One point in particular that was brought up is communication. In response, we will begin making minutes of these meetings available to parishioners. Please be patient with our family staff as we work to develop a unified communication plan and pray for our them to be guided by the Holy Spirit. 

One of my priorities is to go down to one unified bulletin. This may take some time as we must honor our current bulletin contracts. We have seen several unified bulletins from other families of parishes, which are helping us to gather innovative ideas. Please know that I want us to have effective communication about Beacons of Light and our parishes.
