Providence Youth

Dear Friends in Christ,

With hearts full of gratitude for every young person who has walked through our doors, we want to share an important update with our community.

At this time, our formal Youth Ministry program will no longer be continuing in its current form for now. This was not a decision made lightly. It came after much prayer, discernment, and careful consideration of the needs of our Family of Parishes and the resources available to serve you well.

To the students and families who gave so much of yourselves to this ministry — your faith, your energy, your witness — thank you! You have been a light to this Family of Parishes, and that light does not go out. To our volunteers and parents, you have been an integral part of passing on the faith to our young people and still are. 

Our commitment to you has not changed.

The young people of this Family of Parishes remain deeply cherished members of our community. While the structured program is concluding for now, we remain committed to walking alongside our students in their faith journey. 

The volunteers and parents remain valuable missionary disciples of our community who are able to pass on the faith to all those they encounter. We will need your gifts as we enter more fully into this Year of Unity.

We encourage all to remain active in the life of the parishes — through Sunday Mass, the Sacraments, service opportunities, and the many ways Christ continues to call each of us closer to Himself.

We believe that in the future, our Youth Ministry will rise up once again and be a vibrant ministry, reaching young people where they are and leading them closer to Christ.
