4th Sunday of Lent: Last Weekend’s Survey
Greetings in the name of the Lord:
Thank you to everyone for participating in our in-pew survey this past Sunday. Thank you to the Family Leadership Team and the Family Pastoral Council for bringing the survey together. Thank you to the ushers and Pastoral Council members for helping distribute and collect the surveys. The next step is tabulating the data and developing a report of what people shared in the survey. The Family Pastoral Council will be meeting April 1 and April 8 to enter the surveys into a program that will tabulate the data. We have people involved in this part of the process who have this kind of expertise. Once this is done the report will be reviewed by the Family Leadership Team, followed by the Family Pastoral Council, and then shared with all parishioners.
Please keep in mind that the survey results are part of our data collection to understand where we are as a Family of Parishes. We have already gathered data for Sacraments, Mass attendance, giving, finances, and have had an assessment of our 5 campuses. There will also be liturgical space evaluations completed at each parish in the near future. This information gives us a clearer picture of the state of our Family of Parishes. Please keep in mind that no decisions have been made regarding Mass schedules and places of Sunday worship.
Currently we have 1,300 people worshiping in our parishes every Sunday. Our goal is to continue having 1,300 people every Sunday and adding more as we each live out our baptismal calling sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and His One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
Yours in Christ:
Fr. Haft
