St. Clare Ministries

St. Clare Parish uses Rotunda Software's
"Ministry Scheduler Pro" (MSP) program to schedule liturgical ministries.

St. Clare Parish thrives with a variety of opportunities for involvement and service.
We welcome you to review these ministries to find which ones can benefit from your talents and interests.  

Fundraising

  • is a fun Fall evening with split the pot, silent auction, food, and friends. [Ellen Dillon, Meghann Boguszewski]

  • Provides fellowship and fish dinners the Fridays of Lent. [Kathy Metzger]

  • Raises money for the parish at no cost to the parishioners by registering their Kroger Plus card to benefit the community of St. Clare. [Parish Office]

  • Is a fun filled evening of trivia to benefit the St. Clare Education Fund for John Paul II Catholic School. [Bonnie Mack]

  • Accepts only small ink cartidges from home printers and can be placed in the baskets in the vestibule of church.

Liturgy & Worship

  • Prepares church for celebrations of the liturgical season through altar cloths, banners and plants. [Mary Rose]

  • Assists families in planning Mass of Christian Burial, attends the Mass and assists during the liturgy. [Eileen McGuiggan]

  • Proclaims the Word of God on a level understandable to young children.

  • Distribute Communion at Mass and to shut-ins. [Sandy Fernbacher]

  • Bring forward the gifts at weekend and holyday Masses. [Harold Schuler]

  • Provide a warm welcome at weekend Masses. [Harold Schuler]

  • Proclaim the Word of God at Mass. [Pat Molloy]

  • Enhances the liturgy through non-verbal prayer, banners, incense and dance. [Monica Bonecutter]

  • Provides music through Adult Choir, Cantors, and Instrumentalists. [Dr. Scot Buzza]

  • Provides prayer by request and prays for those in need of help. [Dr. Scot Buzza]

  • Prepare the sanctuary for weekend Masses and oversees weekend liturgies by making sure Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and Lectors are present. [Harold Schuler]

  • Elementary, High School and Adults assist the presider at Mass.

  • Give assistance wherever necessary to assure comfort and efficiency in the celebration of the liturgy. [Harold Schuler]

Community Life

  • Provide weekly light cleaning of church. [Nancy Zint]

  • August 11th is St. Clare’s Feast Day.

  • Arranges and serves refreshments once a month after 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. [Roger Bernhard]

  • Gives St. Clare families with children attending JPII fellowship opportunities. [Jeannine Abbott]

  • Provides needed items for the church, tuition aid, church cleaning and more. [Mary Lou Ficker]

  • Provides maintenance of gardens around the campus. [Parish Office]

  • Empowered by the Spirit, helps one another grow in the love of Christ by sharing life experiences. [Mark Albert]

  • Provides support and service to the sick, shut-ins and elderly. [Marge Bischoff]

  • Teaches people how to make rosaries. They meet on the 3rd Friday of each month at St. Ann Church, 2900 Galbraith Rd. Rosaries are made for our RCIA candidates and missions all over the world. [Judy Siegmund]

Parish Committees
