The Vision of St. Clare Parish

St. Clare Parish is a dynamic faith community in which we, as members, embrace the Eucharist as the center of our lives and the source of our:

  • Spirituality: which calls us to grow in our personal relationship with God and others;

  • Community: which calls us to welcome and value each person;

  • Social Action: which calls us to serve and support the community of College Hill and beyond;

  • Lay Leadership: which calls us to form and empower the parish and deanery;

  • Stewardship: which calls us to share our time, talents, and treasures.

Parishioner Expectations

As a member of St. Clare Parish, I pledge to God and to all parish members that, with their help and the grace of God, I will:

  • welcome and respect each person.

  • participate regularly in the Eucharist.

  • inspire and nurture spiritual growth in myself and in others.

  • appreciate our Catholic heritage, beliefs, values, and traditions.

  • enable a spirit of love, acceptance, and open communication.

  • participate in and invite others to parish events, activities, and outreach.

  • support the ministers, lay leaders, and all parishioners with prayer and action.

  • share my time and resources (gifts, talents, and finances) for the good of the parish.

  • pursue an attitude of gratitude and a sense of hope within myself and for others.
